Garbanzo Waffles with Berry Syrup*

A surprising favorite at every breakfast table

Oats are loaded with vitamins and minerals that can help lower your cholesterol and sugar levels! It increases the feeling of being full for longer.
Garbanzos are high in protein, packed with nutrients that promote a healthy and controlled appetite with the benefits of boosting heart health.


  • 3 C. apple juice

  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 4 Dates

  • 2 C. garbanzos (soaked overnight)

  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla

  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 3 C. quick oats


  1. Pre-heat your Waffle iron and spray with non stick spray or brush with melted coconut oil.

  2. Blend all ingredients except the oats until smooth, then add the oats and blend again.

  3. Ladle or pour a good amount into the waffle iron, cooking until golden brown.

  4. Serve with mashed bananas and almond butter mixed together. Can top with a berry syrup*, hemp, shredded coconut, ect.

  5. Enjoy!
